NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 27 – Another Kenya Defence Forces camp was on Friday morning overrun by Al Shabaab terrorists in Somalia.
Government security officials confirmed the attack at Kulbiyow town in Lower Jubba, but details on the number of attackers or casualties remained scanty.
“We have received information on the attack,” a top security official said, “but we have no details yet.”

Other sources said there was intense fighting in the camp- including bombings and multiple exchange of gunfire. No casualty figures were given.
The incident comes a year after the El Adde January 15 attack that left more than 100 Kenyan soldiers dead in the worst ever attack on the country’s military.
