South west state forces and al shabaab fighters exchanged heavy weapons and gunfire’s after bitter fighting erupted Gof-gadud area in Bay region.
The war began last midnight, official of Somali forces in South-west state Somalia Cornel Muqtar Mohamed ahmed who interviewed Radio simba in Mogadishu said “we killed 32 al shabaab fighters and Ethiopian military confiscate Gof-gadud resident after the fight and now the area is under Ethiopia military” said Cor. Muqtar
Some of SWE soldieries have been admitted to Baido a hospital which is the temporary capital city of South-west state and most of them were minor injuries as Baido Doctors told Simba Radio.
The clash seems to be part of clashes between the rival sides in the Bay region.
-On the other hand Simba radio received that al shabaab fighters beheaded the governor of Gaf-gadud resident Hussein wardhere Hassan.
Reliable sources in Bay region confirmed radio simba in Mogadishu that they recognized Gof-gadud governor was captured and beheaded after hours by al shabaab fighters.
No comment released south-west state administration towards this slaughter.
