Minister of Internal Security of Somali Federal Government, H.E Mohamed Abuukar Islow has today on Monday opened orphanage center for the children of the police forces.
“The center comprises of sleeping rooms, school rooms for learning, Qur’an, mosque for praying and play ground for excises, the orphans of the police army will get care from this center and there are 20 other orphans who lost their parents in Zobe tragedy will also benefit this program, Said The Minister.
He added that this is one of the various government success.
The official opening occasion attended by Interim chief of the police forces, Gen. Muktar Hussein Afrah, General adviser for political affairs of the president, Hon. Mohamud Ahmed Nuur (Tarsan) and other government officials.
The center was given the name of Gen.Mohamed Abshir Muse who was the first Somali police commissioner.
