Al shabaab fighters have confiscate Haluqa area in Garisa District which is north-East region of Kenya.
Hundreds of al shabaab militants with battle vehicles entered inside of Haluqa area without any obstacles.
During the attack, the al shabaab group destroyed a Safaricom communication mast.
Unconfirmed reports claimed that; the fighters had taken hostage, workers stationed to guard the Safaricom mast.

According to reports, the militants are said to have launched a second attack on the town.
