The Islamic Scholars Association of Somalia, an influential body in Mogadishu, on Monday called on the administrations of Puntland and Somaliland to stop fighting and to clamd down the tension.
Islamic Scholars Association of Somalia urged the two administrations to end the fight by peace talking as to stop the war between Somaliland and Puntland forces.
The call came after Puntland Defense Forces and Somaliland soldiers clashed with heavy weapons against each other in Takaraq town, about 90 km from Garowe which is an administrative capital of Puntland.
