The government officials who opened football tournament between Federal member states and Benadir region, among them were the prime minister H.E.Hassan Ali Kheyre, minister of sports Miss Khadiio Mohamed Diriye and Governor and Mayor Benadir Mr.Taabit Abdi Mohamed.
The kick off of the tournament, Banadir Foot ball team faced jubaland state players .
The Prime Minister praised Benadir governor for the hospitality and hosting that he arranged for football teams of regional states which results interaction among players and their supports.
Mr. Hassan Ali Kheyre: opening remarks said,” Sports could play vital role for restoration of create peace, co-operation, stability, successful progress community, contribute to the development and prosperity of the country”.
A crowd of both teams supports watched the game which was interesting in kenos stadium, Benadir players won and scored ( 2_1) against Jubbaland team.
