Parliamentary Elections For Banadir Region and Adaado town, The Latest Vote Round:

Elections on Banadiri community seats for the House of the People launched today in Mogadishu and the total of 7 members of the Lower House chamber were headed to elect for Banadir region.

The first seat of today’s Mogadishu elections for lower house parliaments of Banadiri community voted Khalid Mo’aw abdiqadir after defeating his rival contender, Sharif Moahemd.

Fifty delegates gave 29 votes Khalid Ma’ow and elected while Sharif Mohamed received 21 votes.

During the election Commissioner of Banadir region Abdiqadir Mahamed  abdiqadir who was one of the candidates announces his resigns.

Meanwhile the Deputy Parliament Speaker Mahad Abdalla Awad, was elected as a lawmaker in the parliamentary elections.

According to the ballot results, Awad retained his seat after defeating his rival contender, Hassan Mohamed Nur, in majority 50 votes in the Lower House election.

In adaado the temporary capital of Galmudug administration’s election of lower house parliaments elected Mohamed abtidoon who is Somali Businessman and defeated two candidates those are Aadan Osman and Ubax ahmed after hard elections  Abtidon won and  becomes one of upcoming federal parliaments in Somalia.

Since the start of the Lower House elections in early November, up to 175 lawmakers out of 275 seats have been elected, whereas 37 of the elected MPs are women.
