Voting to elect HirShabelle state representatives to Somalia’s Lower House of the federal parliament commenced Wednesday, the State-level Indirect Electoral Implementation Team (SIEIT) said today.
4 seats voted in the first round of elections in hirshabelle administration and hold jowhar which is capital city of Hirshabelle inter-regional state.
HirShabelle was the last regional administration to be formed under Somalia’s federalism process.
The state concluded first phase House elections on Wednesday and has been voted candidates of Lower House.
