The court heard on Friday how he had crashed the car, damaging a further three vehicles, and subsequently refused to take a breathalyser test.
He pleaded guilty on all charges.
In a separate sentence on Friday, a 26-year old Maltese man from Floriana was fined €500 and had his probation order extended by a year after pleading guilty to attacking another man in Xaghra on 31 January.
The man also pleaded guilty to breaching other conditions of a previous court sentence and of relapsing.
Police inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri acted as prosecutor in both cases, that were heard by Magistrate Paul Coppini.
