Hi Excellence Sadaq Abdullahi Abdi the Minister of Public Works of the Federal Government of Somalia, has arrived in Mogadishu after tour of duty in Turkey for some couple of days, the Minister was cordially welcomed at the airport by his deputy Minister, the director general of the Ministry and some other officials of the Ministry.
The Minister addressing the press inside the airport has in lengthily talked about meetings which he had with various Turkish officials in Turkey, and one of the important discussions he had with the officials in Turkey was the implementation of the constriction of 10,000 houses in Mogadishu which the government of Turkey has promised to construct.
“Our trip to Turkey was basically about the strengthening collaboration and bilateral relation between the two countries, chiefly about the rebuilding, we went to big cities like Ankara and Antaliya, we met there with officials and merchants and we were highly welcomed, we discussed with them about how to help support Somalia in rebuilding the nation, we also discussed about the construction of the promised 10,000 houses in Mogadishu and the construction process is now in good stage” said the Minister.
The Ministry of Public Works is seriously committed in rebuilding the entire nation in particular the important infrastructures in the country which have been for so long inactive.
