President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdulahi Farmajo has today on Tuesday met senior officials of the Somali National Army at the Ministry of Defense in Mogadishu and addressed the final preparation of military operation against the terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab.
The president called on Somalis to stand with the armed forces as they fight the terror groups.
Al Shabaab has been fighting government and African Union peacekeepers for years to impose its harsh interpretation of Sharia law in the country.
