Somalia’s Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke and his delegation reached Garowe town, the regional capital of Puntland on Saturday, welcomed warmly in Garowe airport by top officials and societies.
To hold talks with state leaders aimed to de-escalate tensions between Puntland and Galmudug and the prime minister will focus to met Abdiwali Mohamed Ali Gas Puntland President and Galmudug Leader Abdikarim Hussein Guled to halt repeated fighting.
The other hand demonstrations against the prime minister’s travel Mr. Omar Abdi Rashid Ali Sharmake happened in some areas in Galgacayo town and some Puntland areas.
The prime minster visited Adado town in Galgaduud region on Friday, and held meetings with Galmudug administration as to resolve conflicts in the region.
