Somali Senator Hussein Ali Hajj has escaped death narrowly on Thursday morning after his car has fired bullets.
The attack happened after the senator’s vehicle came under bullets in Hodan District, near Egyptian hospital.
The accident caused injuries severed to his daughter and his driver those rushed to the hospital to get medical care.
The senator who spoke Simba radio in Mogadishu said” “I have survived today a terror attack aimed to assassinate me”
Witnesses said the perpetrators escaped from the scene after the attack.
Hussein Ali Hajji who is one of the members of the Upper House chamber of the Federal Parliament is safe following the failed assassination attempt.
