Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Ali Kheyre on Tuesday received European Union envoy to Somalia, Veronique Lorenzo at his office in Mogadishu. Government Forces Conduct Operation Against Al-Shabaab In Gedo:

At least nine terrorist militants including senior commanders were on Monday killed and weapons recovered after Somali National Army conducted successful operation at a location close to Bur-dhubo town in Gedo region southern Somalia. Abdirahman Ibrahim Mohamed, Army Commander in the area told Radio Mogadishu that the area was terrorists strong-hold, saying they were destroyed.
